Overview of Crohn's Disease Medical Research Study

Our current Crohn's Disease medical research study is a 72 week outpatient study, with 17 required clinic visits. The study assesses the efficacy and safety of an intravenous therapy used for the treatment of Crohn's Disease.

What is Crohn's Disease?

Crohn's Disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It causes inflammation of your digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss and malnutrition.

The inflammation caused by Crohn's disease often spreads deep into the layers of affected bowel tissue. Crohn's disease can be both painful and debilitating, and sometimes may lead to life-threatening complications.

While there's no known cure for Crohn's disease, therapies can greatly reduce its signs and symptoms and even bring about long-term remission. With treatment, many people with Crohn's disease are able to function well.

You may be eligible to take part in the study if you:

  • are 18-80 years of age

  • have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and have failed conventional and/or
    biologic therapy

You may be compensated for time and travel, up to $150 for screening visit, $150 Endoscopy Visit, & $50 for each completed study visit. Caregivers are also compensated for their time and travel.

If you have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, contact us today to learn more about our current study opportunities for this diagnosis.
